Mission

Jude is a brand I developed during my final year of Visual Communication Design at Stellenbosch, focused on breaking the stigma surrounding autism. With insights and guidance from close friends on the spectrum, I created a brand that fosters awareness, understanding, and acceptance.

Through thoughtful design—T-shirts, posters, bags, and stationery—I aimed to amplify the voices of individuals with autism, using illustrations and statements like “Autism: Different, not less” to spark.

Impact

  • Social Awareness – Designed apparel and materials that spark conversations and educate.

  • Community Engagement – Created designs worn by students and staff at Bonnievale Autism Care.

  • Empowering Representation – Showcased personal stories and statements from individuals with autism.

  • Multi-Touchpoint Branding – Developed a cohesive visual identity across apparel, posters, stationery, and packaging.

My services

  • Brand Concept & Development – Built Jude as a brand with a strong social impact.

  • Illustration & Graphic Design – Created expressive, meaningful visuals for t-shirts, posters, and bags.

  • Typography & Messaging – Designed impactful statements like "Autism: Different, not less."

  • Product Design & Merchandising – Designed wearable and functional items that carry the brand’s mission.

  • Community Collaboration – Partnered with Bonnievale Autism Care to bring the designs to life.
